The northern light cannot be imagined from afar

The theme we have chosen for the EL Congress in 2011 is the Northern Light. We believe that each lottery brings its own light to our incredible industry. Here in the North, we welcome the opportunity to share our light with you and hope you can enlighten us with yours.

In Helsinki, in June 2011, we will have the perfect setting to shed more light on our common challenges. In the natural Northern Light, surrounding us nearly 24 hours a day, our own special lights and insights will be refined to new ways of thinking, new ways of developing our businesses in an efficient and sustainable way. A new light will open a new vision to the future. Welcome to the Northern Light!

In the upper right-hand corner of the website, you will find interesting information about how much daylight there is at a given point of time in Helsinki. Finns believe that light has a great influence on the kind of people we are. If you find the way we’re acting strange in, say, November, you may find an explanation on the upper corner of this website. We barely get to see daylight at all in Finland in November.
