Vanjoki: Virtuality Is Our Sixth Sense

Mr Anssi Vanjoki let the congress guests in on the sixth sense: it is a virtual sense, inherent to especially those born in the 1990s and after. Present-day people live simultaneously in the real and virtual worlds and the world is viewed more and more often through screens – especially small ones. Augmented reality, a mixture of real and virtual, will also be the next big thing in gaming. Vanjoki encouraged the lottery people to open up their product development and to provide people with an environment where they can create games by themselves.

“The creativity of individuals who can make things based on their free will is amazing. Are you going to be the organizer of everything or will you provide the environment for creative people to create games?” asked Anssi Vanjoki M.Sc. (Econ.), former Executive Vice President of Nokia's Markets Unit.
